Cycling

For the month of August I switched to a lot more cycling instead of running. It was suggested with the medication and the lower stress it would have on my heart.
I connected with Eunice who somehow convinced me to sign up for a Duathlon! Yes that is like a triathlon, but no swimming. One would have to run twice. So we signed up with another new friend Liisa who also seems to enjoy being "challenged" cough "coerced" to sign up for craziness. 😄
As part of our "training" we would do cycling and then some running to simulate our potential sprint duathlon. BUT a lot of our "training" runs incorporated Food and our training became more of adventures. Training was never more fun in my opinion. 😏
In fact, we've had adventures to Parliament Hill, Byward Market, Carp and Carleton Place.
We even dragged along Jaimie and Cam on our adventures. Here are just some photos of an amazing summer of training 😀
